Our team uses a collaborative approach in instituting the modern energy efficiency provisions set out in Section J
of the National Construction Code (NCC), Volume One. Certis reviews all aspects of the NCC Section-J compliance to
ensure a building project is energy efficient. In the instance that the project falls outside the usual scope of NCC
Section J compliance, we offer a special service in JV3 alternative solutions. Our energy consultants guide you
through the process and implement any alterations or additions that may be needed to improve your energy efficiency rating.
As a national company our Australian regulatory compliance accreditation allows us to provide accreditation under
the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS), the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) and
the Building Sustainability Index (BASIX). We also offer the internationally recognised Green Star sustainability rating
system for projects. Our consultants have extensive engineering and industry experience in the area of Ecological
Sustainable Design (ESD) and are fully committed to the provision of ESD and Section-J Compliance.
Our highly specialised team of energy assessors and ESD consultants have worked on several major projects in Brisbane,
Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Perth, as well as projects in regional areas.
